While Cyber Attack was entirely written in 2017, the score was released at the very beginning of 2018. In 2018, I would also write the score to Seek First. Seek First was interesting, as I didn't have much time to compose it. I also used chord structure far more prominently in this endeavor. Needless to say, this was also an important building-block to my development.
CYBER ATTACK
I had bitten off more than I could chew. When I committed to scoring Cyber Attack, I was still using my iPod Touch to write music. When I transitioned to a desktop using Logic Pro X, my skills were still underdeveloped. However, quitting wasn't an option. I made a promise, which I had to fulfill. Sure, it would probably manifest in an unsatisfactory way, but I had to try. The result was a trial by fire.
I always struggled with deadlines in school. However, this was one I did not miss.

January, 2018 - A Heart-Wrenching Loss
When a title tells you how to feel, the title is weak. I don't think the piece is weak, but the title is severely lacking. |
January, 2018 - Your Time Is Up
My first foray into horror. Ostentatious as heck. |
January, 2018 - A Simple Question
How bad is this piece? It's a simple question. |
Sometime, 2018 - No One to Run To
Short piece meant to build tension. |
Sometime, 2018 - Action is Imminent
At this point, I've lost complete track of the timeline. I'd have specific dates, but some of these original files are gone. |
Sometime, 2018 - That Feeling
Precursor to Green from Three (2020). What feeling? Who knows. |
March 24th, 2018 - Mass Destruction
Remember the downward motions? There they are in massive quantities. I like this one. This would also later be featured in Empty Spaces (2019). |
Stardate: Unknown, 2018 - Where We're Going
Title was without a doubt inspired by Interstellar. However, it wasn't the worst and was pretty well executed. This marks the beginning of my music quality being limited by my hardware/samples. |
July 16th, 2018 - Here He Comes
Another favorite. For the quality of samples I had access to, this piece really shines. Sure, it sounds a bit bland, but it really comes into it's own.
